I like my coffee HOT. From the first sip to the last. I bought this cuz I get up to microwave my coffee 2 to 3 times per cup and that was getting annoying. Simply put this doesn't keep coffee hot and barely keeps it warm. Unless you just want to keep your lukewarm cup lukewarm then I can't recommend this.


The Toastmaster hot spot was just what I was looking for. A coffee cup hot pad with an on off switch. The switch is on the unit rather then on the cord like other's I'd looked at. The switch also has a light that indicates tha the unit is on. I've only had it a week or so, but have found that if you put a cold cup of water on it it will warm it up. Warm I said not hot. So don't expect to brew a cup of coffee or tea on it. But if you are just looking for a hot pad that will extend the length of a cup of coffee, then this unit will fit the bill. The only other feature I would have liked it to have was an auto shut off. Couldn't find any units like that though.


Needed a new warmer to replace one I had for about 20 years. Tried another one, which didn't keep anything warm. This one works well, but to keep the coffee as warm as I like, need to have a cover on the cup. With a cover on the cup, it can even warm up coffee that isn't as warm as I like, although it takes a few minutes. Overall, happy with the product.


This warmer works very well. It keeps my coffee warm for hours if needed when I am running around at work.


I did a lot of debating over this purchase as the reviews were very mixed, but I'm glad I decided to purchase it. The heater does a good job of keeping coffee toasty warm until finished. I'm not a fast drinker, but I also like to enjoy. It worked well enough for my needs. No, I don't think it would heat a cold cup of coffee and it won't keep it steaming hot for hours on end, but overall, it's worth the price. The cup is nothing special and not at all necessary.


Although this unit does an adequate job of keeping my coffee hot as long as it's already hot, it isn't the item I ordered. The mugwarmer is supposed to be manufactured by Salton, and the one I received is a Toastmaster. I ordered this item specifically because of the positive reviews I had read.


Can't find a cup that works with it. Probably not with the $15.


Say goodbye to cold coffee! The only downside is that it won't turn itself off, so as long as you're not absent minded this is for you!


I found the Salton "Hot Spot" mug warmer to be underpowered. At 17 watts, it keeps a cup of coffee warm but not hot. Depending on how you like your coffee, that could be a good thing, since it doesn't fry the contents down to a gummy residue as do more powerful warmers. On the other hand, I found the coffee temperature to be on the low side for my taste.

The price is good, the unit is attractive, and the delivery time was excellent.


I have purchased SEVERAL other brands of mug warmers, trying to find one that actually lives up to what the manufacturer claims. This one actually does! It keeps my coffee warm for literally hours (since I'm one to get busy at work and forget my morning coffee sitting on the desk, it will still be hot at lunch time). I would never purchase any other brand, and would tell others the same who ask me. This product is the only one to try. Trust me...I've tried the others.
